Darlene T. Siddons (nee Kotarba), 68, of McHenry, formerly of Johnsburg, passed away unexpectedly at her home.
She was born February 5, 1948, in Chicago, to the late Alexander and Johanna (nee Burke) Kotarba, and went on to work at Abbott Laboratories as a quality analyst for over 15 years.
Darlene enjoyed crafting, especially stamping, sleepovers with her grandchildren and coming up with unique nicknames for them. Known for her laugh, she was always up for a good party, loved warm weather, and loved being around people.
Survivors include her children, Martin (Cheryl) Siddons, Dawn (Mike) Dominguez, and Kimberly (Brian) Catalano; grandchildren, Courtney (Matt) Bradley, Kyle Catalano, Kenndra Dominguez, Morgan Dominguez, Christopher Litwin, Marti Ann Siddons, Devynn Dominguez, Blake Catalano, and Franki Siddons; great-grandson, Jaxson Bittinger; siblings, Allen (Chris), Barry (Sandy), and Diane (Ursula) Kotarba; former husband, Marty Siddons; and by many other loving family members and good friends.
In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Miley Bittinger; uncle, Edward Kotarba; and nephew, Allen Kotarba, Jr.
The memorial visitation will be Saturday, October 29, from 9 a.m. until the celebration of Darlene’s life at 12 noon, at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Darlene's name to Jaxson's college fund, appreciated.
