Gladys L. (nee Kelly and Anderson) Ratliff

Gladys L. Ratliff (nee Kelly and Anderson), passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Centegra Hospital, McHenry.

She was born November 21, 1928, in Chicago, to the late Theodore and Mildred (nee Sandin) Anderson.

Gladys owned Club G and S on Grand Avenue in Fox Lake for 38 years, and was a devout Cubs and Packers fan.  She was a great lady who loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane (Robert) Fernandes and Maureen Kelly; grandchildren, Deanna Medyk, Daniel (Pam) Medyk, Scott Fernandes, Adam Medyk, and Michelle Fernandes; great-grandchildren, Michael Mayer, Justine Lewner, Jessica Lewner, Jacqueline Medyk, Cassidy Medyk, and August Medyk; brothers, Robert and Vernon Anderson; son-in-law, Michael Medyk; grandson-in-law, Randy Brown; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel Kelly and Stanley Ratliff; daughter, Sharon Medyk; granddaughter, Beverly Brown; and sister-in-law, Mary Anderson.

The visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, July 17, at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Inurnment will be private.
