I am thankful and honored to have known Greg. Although the time spent together was minimal, the memories are plentiful. From the (FLVFD) Bingo Hall, to time spent amongst friends (Sr, Big "R", Goo-Goo, Jr & Meathead) to the vacations in Las Vegas. Eileen and I will treasure them always. Rest Easy Murph. Until we meet again.

Greg Murrey, long time friend, and fellow firefighter. We certainly shared many times together at the firehouse. Lots of laughs and some tough times but always working to help someone. Pictures of you pumping 29 for waterfights will forever be in my mind Greg. Rest in peace friend.

Greg was a great brother during my time with the Fox Lake Fire Department. We shared many a meal and call together. His inspiration was meaningful to all who worked with him. He will truly be missed.

I’ll always remember when you were there with my stepdad James Thillen. Both of you were the backbone of Fox Lake with everything both of you did for the community more than anyone could imagine. Say hello to my stepdad and see you again my friend!

How well I remember my nephew Greg going back to my days n our farm in Antioch, Ill. I am now 86 years old and still kept in contact with Greg via Facebook. He and Mary often spoke of visiting me in Naples., FL. Sadly they never could make the trip. Today my heart is so heavy as now another loved one has gone home. My circle in heaven is so full. However I look forward to seeing all my loved ones in the Morning Just Beyond The Eastern Gate. My love to all. Greg surely was called home too soon,
