Loren Leland Ross

Loren Leland Ross, 81, a longtime resident of Round Lake, passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.  He was born December 19, 1935, in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, to Adron and Helen Ross.

Loren enjoyed playing and listening to country music, cooking, home improvement projects, and restoring and working on cars.

He is survived by his children, David (Pam), Daniel, Darrel (Vicki), Dennis (Gayle), Douglas, Duane, and Darrin (Amanda Dahl) Ross, and Denice (Scott) Rees; 29 grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.

In addition to his parents, Loren was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki S. Ross; siblings, Verlin, Elwin, and David Ross, and Eleanor Chambers; and a grandson Brandon Merges.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, September 23, at Parkway by the Lake, 25212 W. Lake Shore Drive, Ingleside (847-587-7285).  Visitation at 11 a.m., memorial service at 11:30 a.m., with a luncheon following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Loren’s name may be made to the Red Cross, Special Olympics, or the charity of your choice.
