Jolie Qunfeng-Lu Schulze, 45, of Fox Lake, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at her home. She was born October 15, 1972, in China.
Jolie worked for many years in Fox Lake as a personal banker at US Bank and as an accountant at H&R Block. She was very active at CrossPoint Church in Ingleside. Known for her keen intellect, Jolie earned a degree in education and had a passion for continued learning and new experiences. In turn, she enjoyed teaching people about the things she had learned and experienced. Most of all, Jolie loved spending time with her family—especially her husband and sons—and hosting and spending time with their extended family. An avid gardener and horticulturalist, Jolie enjoyed the micro nursery of flowers and plants she and her family grew and maintained together.
Jolie was a loving and caring wife to Gary Schulze of Fox Lake; mom to Frederick and Luke Schulze of Fox Lake; and daughter and sister to her loving family in China. She is further survived by her beloved extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 8, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Burial will follow in East Fox Lake Cemetery, Lake Villa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jolie’s name may be made to CrossPoint Church, 27430 Nippersink Rd., Ingleside, IL 60041.
