Judy (Schultz) Stevens

Judy Stevens (nee Schultz), 77, of Fox Lake, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at Centegra Hospital, McHenry.

She was born February 24, 1940, in Chicago, to the late Charles and Lillian (nee McMahon) Schultz.

Judy was a shopaholic, who loved spending time at Fish Lake Beach Campground and with her dogs, Kady and Colt.  Growing up, she enjoyed spending time at her family’s cottage in Fish Creek, WI.

Survivors include her children, Jayne (Steve) Milovanovic of Antioch, Jade “Joy” Stephens of Harvard, Regina (Kevin) Stevens-Jones, and William Stevens, Jr. both of Chatsworth, GA; and grandchildren, Jacqui (Glenn) Williams, Jaynell and Jaidyn Stephens, Jennifer (Robert) Duckett-Densmore, and Ryan and Tyler Duckett.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, William Stevens, Sr.; and granddaughter, Brianna Lane.

The visitation will be Tuesday, May 16, from 4-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 17, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judy’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
