Linda Mae (nee Brooks) Cashmore

Linda Mae Cashmore (nee Brooks), 64, a longtime Lake County Resident, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at her home.  She was born December 4, 1953, in Chicago, to the late John and Rosemarie (nee Lentsch) Brooks.

A loving and devoted mom and grammy, Linda is survived by her children, Amanda (Mark) Clearwater, Adam (Kathy) Cashmore, and Maegan (Chris) Gallimore; and grandchildren, Hunter, Samantha, and Renee Cashmore, and Tommy (Kassidy Zielinski) Gallimore.  She is further survived by her former spouse and best friend, John (Steve Kludy) Cashmore; siblings, John (Chris) Brooks, Joanne (Bill) Norkus, Larry (Linda) Brooks, Mary (Joe) Couch, and Ken (Paula) Brooks; “adopted” daughter, Debbie (Hans) Schreiber; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Sharon Brooks and Karen (Bill) Reynolds.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 15, from 3 p.m. until the time of prayer and eulogy services at 7 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  There will also be visitation Wednesday, May 16, from 8:45 a.m. until the time of prayer service at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home.  A Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd. (at the intersection with Route 59), Ingleside, IL 60041.  Burial will be in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
