Vincent “Vince” Paul Bendinelli, 50, of Round Lake, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.
He was born in Woodstock to Shirley (nee Schnordt) and the late Dr. Walter P. Bendinelli on August 25, 1968.
Vince was very well-known and liked in the Fox Lake/Ingleside area where he had previously been a UPS driver for over 15 years and a Fireman/Paramedic with the Fox Lake Fire Department. An avid body builder, he enjoyed fitness and was co-owner of Epic Fitness in Ingleside. He was also owner of MicroMold Remediation in Ingleside. Vince was the number-one fan of his daughters’ softball teams and loved to spend time with his family and friends. His wife and children were his number one priority in life.
Survivors include his wife, Karyn (nee Prasil), whom he married September 21, 2002; children, Colton, Gianna, and Gabriella Bendinelli; mother, Shirley Bendinelli; siblings, Lisa and Michael Bendinelli; nephew, Cristian Bendinelli; mother-in-law, Judie Prasil; father-in-law, Tom (Sandy) Prasil; brother-in-law, Tommy (Sabrina) Prasil; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation Monday, April 29, from 2-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Visitation will continue Tuesday, April 30, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m., at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. Old McHenry Rd., Hawthorn Woods. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Vince’s name may be made to the Fox Lake Fire Protection District Memorial Fund, 306 Washington St., Ingleside, IL 60041.
