Anna Pedowski (nee Piotrowski), 100, of McHenry, formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025, at home.  She was born January 2, 1925, in Poland, to the late Josef and Maria Piotrowski.

Anna enjoyed flowers and gardening and spending time at Woodhaven near Dixon, IL.

Survivors include her children, Zofia (the late Paul) Lupo and Stanley (Wanda) Piwowarski; son-in-law, Alex Mackenzie; grandchildren, Heather (Jonah) Ware, Lisa (Jeff) Yarbrough, and Jason (Jen) Piotrowski; great-grandchildren, Alannah and Skylar Ware and Zachary and Caden Yarbrough; brothers, John and Ted Piotrowski; and many other extended family members.

In addition to her husband, Ryszard Pedowski, Anna was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Mackenzie.

Visitation Monday, August 11, 2025, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Followed by a 11 a.m., funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2302 W. Church St., Johnsburg.  Burial in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
