Arthur “Art” W. Gabriel, Jr., 83, of Fox Lake, peacefully passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at his Winter home in Fort Pierce, FL.  He Was born July 23, 1941, in Chicago, to the late Bernice and Arthur Gabriel, Sr.

Art is survived by his sons, Michael Gabriel and Mark (Michelle) Gabriel; grandson, Alex Gabriel; companion, Nancy Ryan; brother, Richard Gabriel; sister-in-law, Susan (Frank) Adams; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lee Gabriel (nee Huddleston) on October 6, 2018; and sister, Elaine Brown.

A memorial visitation will be Wednesday, March 26, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11:15 a.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Interment will be private.
