Carol Marie Jarocki, 85, passed away peacefully, August 21, 2024.  Carol was born in Forest Park, Illinois, March 15, 1939 to the late Emil and Marie Marunde.  She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Thomas Jarocki, Sr., loving mother of Michael Thomas (Jennifer Lynn) Jarocki, Jr. and the late Mark Emil Jarocki and Matthew Ernst Jarocki.  Carol was the cherished grandmother of Clayton Michael Jarocki, Mason Jarocki and Cooper Matthew Jarocki.  She was the dear sister of Trudy Smith and Emil Marunde.  

Carol graduated from Proviso East High School, Maywood, Il and received her Bachelor of Science from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana.  She was a substitute teacher at the Big Hollow School District. Carol was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Long Lake, Il.

She was a amazing sewer, making many outfits and costumes for her children when they were young, enjoying many crafts as well.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held at 11 a.m., Sunday, October 20, at Maravela's Banquets, 4 Washington St., Ingleside.
