Charles W. Wozniak, 71, of McHenry, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago.  He was born January 31, 1953, to the late Carl and Mary Wozniak.

Chuck grew up in Detroit and Chicago, attended DeVry, and went on to have a successful career as a software engineer.  He worked at Motorola, Quantum Data, and most recently, Mark Products.

He enjoyed computers, cooking, gardening, and Wordle.  Above all, Chuck loved helping people and was known for his dry, observational sense of humor.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Kathryn “Katy” (Brian Dittburner) Wozniak; his cat, Ginger Marie; and Mary’s family, Terri (Robert) Walker, Trisha (Paul Letto) Musich, Timothy (Cathy) Topcik, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial visitation Sunday, July 28, from 2-4 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.
