Charlie Trinchetilla III, 37, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Fox Lake, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at his home. He was born April 16, 1984, in Waukegan, to Charles Trinchetilla Jr. and Lauren Kribley.
Charlie was a gifted mechanic who enjoyed working on engines of all types of vehicles. He was known for his great and hilarious sense of humor and his love of food—especially shrimp and lobster. He grew up on Fox Lake and enjoyed boating and snowmobiling, and loved animals. Above all, he will be remembered for his big, trusting heart and for being a loving son and brother.
Survivors include his parents, Charles (Jacqueline) Trinchetilla Jr. and Lauren Kribley; children, Charlie and Justin Trinchetilla-Mesce, Frankie Thornton, and Harper Kaylee Grace Jones; sister, Nichole (Corey) Lowry; nephews and niece, Gage, Chloe, Tucker, and Mason Lowry; and aunts, Cathy Trinchetilla-Heckmann, Lynda Kribley, Sharyn (Kevin) Conway, Sandra (Craig) Jones-Kinney, and Katherine (Don) Kribley-Ward.
Charlie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna Mae and Elwood Kaherl and Karen and Bob Kribley; and aunt, Diane Warner.
Visitation Thursday, February 17, from 4-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Visitation will resume Friday, February 18, from 8:30-9:15 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Bede Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside. Burial will follow in St. Bede Cemetery.
