It is with sorrow that we mourn the loss of David B Gale, 89, who passed away peacefully at home in Crystal lake, Il on February 11, 2025.
He was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Bryant T. Gale and Margaret (nee Casterline) Gale and grew up in Webster Groves, MO. He was preceded in life by his wife, Frances M Gale: and brother, Christopher Gale.
He was a long time resident of Johnsburg, Il where he and his wife operated Preferred Graphics, a printing company that they operated for over 30 years. David served in the Army from October 1954 to August 1956 and was a volunteer fireman with the Fair Haven, NJ Fire Department. He enjoyed boating and was employed by the McHenry County Sheriff's Marine Patrol unit during the summertime.
He is survived by his children, David Gale Jr., Phillip Gale, Barbara Gale; grandchildren, Lily Gale, Nicolas Gale, Autumn Ebner, and Allison Ebner; his sister, Mary D Gale ( Richard Davisson); sister-in-law, Pamela Waterman Gale; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Service and burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Addus JourneyCare Hospice.
