Denise Helene Hoefle (nee Scholtus)
Born (Friday), August 13, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to John (Jack) Scholtus and Joan Scholtus (nee Bertleff). Was a resident of McHenry, formerly Ingleside and Round Lake Beach, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George S. Hoefle, Sr., who was the love of her life for 43 years.
Adoring mother of George Hoefle, Jr. (Stacy), Steven Hoefle and Deanna Baehr (nee Hoefle). Proud grandmother of Steven Hoefle, Jr., Paul Baehr, Jr. and Dayna Baehr.
Beloved sister of Jacqueline (Mick) Vozda, Corrine (Michael) Werderitch, late sister Lenore (William) Lemker and late brother Michael Scholtus. She was a loving aunt to 21 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews. Kool-aid (Pepsi) mom to many of her kids’ great friends. She loved them all like one of her own.
Her favorite enjoyments were spending time with family and friends, entertaining, crafting (diamond art) and listening to music. Most recent years, concerts made her glow.
Memorial Mass 10 am, Monday, July 24, Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Bede Church, 36455 N Wilson Rd., Ingleside. Burial of Denise’s urn to follow at Grant Cemetery, Ingleside. A luncheon will follow the urn burial.
