Harold "Harry" Lester Gorman Obituary

Harold “Harry” Lester Gorman, 78, of Johnsburg, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at home.  He was born June 20, 1943, in Chicago.


Harold worked as a maintenance man at Wells Manufacturing in Woodstock for 40 years.  He loved fishing, coffee, off-track betting, and eating.  Most of all, he enjoyed time with his grandchildren and family.


Survivors include his wife, Kay; children, Theresa Coleman, Cindy (Charlie) Barger, and Chris (Tracy) Gorman; grandchildren, Chloe Arellano, MaKayna and Kami Barger, Erie Jones, and Emma and Cooper Gorman; and caregivers, Maria Busch and RJ Axen.


He was preceded in death by sisters, Florence (Roy) Morgan, Millie Ross, and Dolly Gorman.


Private burial will be in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.  A celebration of Harold’s life will be announced for a future date.
