Hugh N. Starbeck, 93, of Ingleside, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at JourneyCare Hospice, Barrington.  He was born December 23, 1926, in Emporia, KS, to the late Hugh A. and Ethel G. (nee Wieland) Starbeck.

Hugh was a WWII veteran who proudly served in the Army.  He went on to be an over-the-road trucker.

Survivors include his son, Dennis Paschen; nephew, Steven Starbeck; and several stepchildren and their families.

In addition to his parents, Hugh was preceded in death by his wife, Marie (nee Verdico) on April 26, 2015.

Visitation Sunday, December 20, from 2 p.m. until the time of prayer service at 6 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Visitation will continue Monday, December 21, from 9:30-10 a.m., at the funeral home.  We will meet at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, for a 12:30 p.m., chapel service.
