Jason “Jack” Prager, 66, of Fox Lake, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.  He was born in Boston, MA, April 5, 1956, to the late Philip and Barbara (nee Laseron) Prager.

Jack enjoyed a 40-year career as an auditor for the State of Illinois Board of Education, during which he traveled the State auditing school districts.  In his free time, Jack loved to garden and landscape, work out, go boating, spend time at the pool, and vacation in Las Vegas and tropical places.  He also loved his canine companions, Eve and the late Lulu.

He is survived by his beloved better half of 35 years, Michelle Hamm; and best friend, Lee Wulbert.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, October 23, from 2-6 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Inurnment will be private.
