Jayson William Sovsky Obituary

Jayson William Sovsky, 48, of Ingleside, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.  He was born January 17, 1974, in McHenry, to Raymond and Susan (nee Couillard) Sovsky.


Jayson grew up in Ingleside, and was a 1992 graduate of Grant Community High School.  He enjoyed boating, gaming, model airplanes, RC cars, spending time with his dogs, and was a well-known and fun-loving jokester.


He is survived by his wife of almost 22 years, Shannon (nee Plaza); daughter, Ally Dunskis; parents, Raymond and Susan Sovsky; siblings, Jon (Laura) and Jennifer Sovsky; nephews and nieces, Jonathan, Abigail, Joseph, Kaitlynn, and Brandon; dogs, Daisy, Cody, and Lexi; and many beloved friends who were also like family to him.


A celebration of Jayson’s life will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022.  Please contact a family member directly for location and time.
