John C. Kurash

John C. Kurash, 89, a resident of Ingleside, IL since 1975, formerly of Cicero, IL, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2020, at Hillcrest Retirement Village in Round Lake Beach, IL. He was born on September 21, 1930, in Chicago, IL to the late John and Frances (nee Marz) Kurash. John was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his twin brother, Eugene Kurash; sister-in-law, Patricia Kurash; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his beloved wife in 2014, Rita Kurash; sister and brother-in-law, Loraine (Ted) Duzik; brother, Raymond Kurash; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Kurash. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020, from 1-5 PM, with a funeral service at 3:00 PM at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake, IL with Deacon Larry Spohr officiating.
