John Paul (Jack) Falcus, of Fox Like, Illinois, 81 years old
Jack was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 17, 1941 and adopted by his loving parents John C. (Jack) Falcus and Pauline O. Price Falcus. He was raised in Appleton, Wisconsin and attended Appleton West High School where he was involved in a variety of sports and Badger Boys State. Jack then attended the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, where he became a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. In August, 1964 he enlisted in the Army National Guard. He served his military obligation at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina.
On June 5, 1965 he married his college sweetheart, Kay Klusmeyer. After a short stay in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, they returned to live in Appleton. He became an agent for Allstate Insurance Company where he remained until he retired in 1999. After retiring they spent six years in Osage Beach, Missouri and then moved to Summerfield, Florida for the warmer climate. He enjoyed many activities, especially golf, traveling and meeting new friends.
Jack is survived by his wife, Kay, of 57 years. He is also survived by his son John P. Falcus II and daughter-in-law Maggie Duffy Falcus, plus two wonderful grandsons, Jack and Joey Falcus. Also surviving are sisters Michele Moran (Mike Springer), Nancy Judkins (Terry), brothers Frank Michalkiewicz (Dianne), Philip Moran (Dianne) and Sean Moran (Sue) plus many other relatives and friends.
Jack was a people person and enjoyed talking, telling stories and jokes. He was kind, considerate and loved by all, especially his family. We will plan a celebration of his life in the Spring. Forever in our hearts.
