Joseph Sylvester Mould, 76, of Largo, Florida, formerly of Cumberland, Rhode Island, passed away May 29, 2022, in Florida. He was born July 4, 1945.
Joe was a retired research and development chemist, who worked for a large ink-manufacturing company in New Jersey. He was an Army veteran. Joe was an avid traveler going from place to place. He was known for countless pictures and stories about his and Aster’s adventures. He traveled abroad numerous of times and was fluent in Japanese. He loved spending time with his family which included his numerous nieces and nephews which often took place on the Eastern coast. He enjoyed spending time with his Florida Trivia Group of which he was a guru when answering questions to bring his team ahead.
Joe is survived by niece and goddaughter, Anna (Jeremy) Marcello Archer; and nieces and nephews, Susan (Ivan) Kearns Dominguez, Jennifer (Neil) Kelso, Anthony (Amanda) Marcello, Patricia (Able) Kearns Acosta, Deanna Zaccagnini Thomasson, Scott Zaccagnini, Michelle Zaccagnini, and John Rocco Zaccagnini; Sister-in-law, Beth Zaccagnini Marcello; and brothers-in-law, Julius “Zack” (Mary Knat) Zaccagnini and John (Pam Schaefer) Zaccagnini. Many Great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Aster (nee Zaccagnini) Mould on April 22, 2012; parents, Joseph Sylvester and Winfred (nee Tighe) Mould; siblings, Raymond Joseph (Lorraine) Mould, Evelyn (John) Kearns; father- and mother-in-law, Julius John and Elizabeth (nee Dzvonik) Zaccagnini.
Columbarium service 10 a.m., Monday, September 19, St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, 2302 W. Church St., Johnsburg.
