Lois Walk, 94, a longtime resident of Fox Lake, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
In the early 1950s, Lois met Tom “Ray” Walk, the love of her life, at the Puppet Bar in Fox Lake. They married and resided in Fox Lake, where her late husband grew up. She had a love for the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks—as she grew up and went to school in Chicago. Lois also enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and an “occasional” beer or vodka martini.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Burr; grandson, Jody (Marci) Burr; and granddaughter, Jamie Martin; great-grandchildren, Chase, Payton, Cooper, and Carter who knew her as “GG”; and brother, Ray (Janice) Dehn and their family.
Lois was preceded in death by husband, Thomas “Ray” Walk; parents, Andy and Mabel Dehn; brother, Bill (Shirley) Dehn; sister, Joan Dehn; and son-in-law, Rick Burr.
