Marcy Heinrich (nee Johnson), 54, of Ingleside, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019, at Manor Care, Libertyville.
She was born September 4, 1965, in Evanston, to Henrietta (nee Grigsby) and the late James Johnson.
Marcy loved to write poetry and was known to be an incredibly generous, giving and loving person.
Survivors include her daughters, Ashley (fiancé Kenny Relken) and Alicia (Joseph Giaimo) Heinrich; grandchildren, Mariah, Jaxon, and Kenley Relken and Elijah Giaimo; mother, Henrietta Johnson; siblings, James Johnson, Linda (the late Earl) Webb, Cathy (Kenneth) Watson, and Bernadette (Aaron) Chatman. She also leaves to mourn eight nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and nephews; two great-great niece and nephew; and a host of cousins and friends.
In addition to her father, Marcy was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Johnson.
A memorial visitation will be Friday, October 4, from 2 p.m. until the celebration of Marcy’s life at 5 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marcy’s name may be made to St. Bede Church or School, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside, IL 60041.
