Marian “Mae” S. Streb (nee Kortas), 87, of Fox Lake, formerly of Palatine, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at home.  She was born April 13, 1937, in Chicago, to the late Lawrence and Genevieve (nee Sweda) Kortas.

Survivors include her children, Jackie (Steve) LeBreck, Michelle Lomas, Anne Marie (John) Robinson, and Albert V. (Stacy) Streb; grandchildren, Danielle (Jake) Fields, Rochelle LeBreck, Joseph LeBreck, Garrett Lomas, Maggie Lomas, Maxx Lomas, Michael Robinson, Jennifer Robinson, Elizabeth Robinson, Emma Streb, and Genevieve Streb; great-granddaughter, Nora Mae Fields;

In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Albert D. Streb on March 1, 2010. siblings, Dolores Valin and Ken Kortas

Visitation Friday, December 13, from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Funeral Mass following at 11 a.m., at St. Peter’s Church, 2118 Main St., Spring Grove.  Interment will be private in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association, in memory of Mae, appreciated.
