Michael P. Walcott, Sr., age 71, passed away peacefully at his home.  Michael was the beloved husband of Katherine M. (nee:  Dugo) and loving father of Melissa, Jonathan (Rebecca), Erin (Hugo) Solis, Michael, Jr.  (Carrie) and Robert.  He was the cherished grandfather of Raymond, Julia, Destiny, Silas, Elijah, Niklaus and Damon Walcott, Hailey Solis, Michael III, and Harrison Walcott.

Michael was the devoted son of the late Darwin and Anne Walcott and dear brother of Patricia (late John) Diversey, Mary Kopterski, the late Jack and Barbara Pollack, brother In-law of Michael (Susan) Dugo and Anthony (Tammy) Dugo.  He was the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Michael honorable served for our country in United States Army.

Michael had an endearing relationship with his dogs; Buffy, Pooch, Lady, and Dixie and his cats; Princess, Tiger, Peaches, Smokey, Tinkerbell, Loki and Lucy.

He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears teams.  

Michael was a huge fan of Tie-Dye and loved his favorite bands such as Beatles, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Beach Boys, Queen, and Frank Sinatra.
