Micheal A. Barndollar, 40, died suddenly Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at home. He was born to Sharon Barnard and the late David Barndollar August 27, 1983, in Libertyville, Ill. Micheal was a longtime resident of Lake County, Ill., and spent some of his life in Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Arizona.
He was described as a charismatic, fun-loving individual who was often the life of many gatherings. Anywhere Micheal went there was always someone that knew him. He was a resourceful man that enjoyed in-depth and controversial conversations in order to find a sense of understanding and belonging in the world around him. Throughout his journey Micheal held many hobbies, however his passion resided in an intense love for all animals, drawing, gaming, and reading.
Micheal is survived by: his beloved mother, Sharon Anderson Barnard; stepfather, John Barnard; his sister, Rachel (Chance) Smith; his cherished nephew, Benjamin; his stepbrother, Drew (Lauryn) Barnard; his beloved grandmother, Carol Konecy; his uncle, Ken (Anne) Anderson; his closest cousins, Heather Phillips, Jennifer Thomas, and Bryan and Aron Anderson; and many more cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his beloved dog, Heffa; his father, David Barndollar; his grandfathers, Allen Konecy, Leslie Anderson, and Melvin Barnard; grandmothers, Catherine ‘Darlene’ Anderson and Genevieve Barnard; his aunt, Karen Engle; his closest cousin, Les Piffner; and childhood friends, Charles Kuhl and Eric Willis.
No services are planned at this time. A Celebration of Life may be announced sometime within the next year.
