Randy William Ruhl, Jr. Obituary

Randy William Ruhl, Jr., 26, of the Fox Lake area, unexpectedly passed away June 11, 2023, in Chicago.  He was born to Randy William Ruhl and Carol Dishinger Bock November 6, 1996, in Highland Park.


During his youth, Randy enjoyed many sports, especially football, wrestling, and fishing.  Randy found his passion in the plumbing industry and excelled in sales and service.  An excellent cook, he was also charismatic, charming, and a delight to be around—with a contagious laugh and smile that could light up a room.  His greatest joy was spending time with his boys.


Survivors include his sons, Jacson and Elliot (and their mom, Sam Calanca); mom, Carol Bock; dad, Randy Ruhl; sisters, Connie Steele, Sandra Sjostrom, and Summer Ruhl; brothers, Frank Bock Jr., Matthew Bock, and Luke Bock; grandma, Rita Ruhl; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and an enormous amount of friends.


He was preceded in death by his grandpa, John Ruhl; grandma, Doris Dishinger; and grandpa, Conrad Dishinger.
