Raymond “Larry” Mondie of Antioch IL, born September 10, 1955, passed away peacefully in his sleep May 20, 2025.

Larry leaves behind his son, Josh Mondie, daughter-in-law, Robin Ryan, and granddaughter, Jaden; sister Pat, brothers John, and Tom, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Hedtke, brother Richard, nephew Rick, and daughter Melissa Mondie.

Larry was a business owner, a realtor, and an enthusiastic pillar of the Antioch community. It was a high point in Larry‘s life to give back to the community through donating to youth sports, community events, and organizations such as PADS.

He enjoyed football, boating, his classic car, motorcycling, and was a decades long friend of Bill W.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry’s memory to the AAHAA (Antioch Area Healthcare Accessibility Alliance).
