Richard "Dick" W. Michaels Obituary

Richard “Dick” W. Michaels, 86, of Ingleside, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at JourneyCare, Barrington.  He was born March 14, 1937, in Chicago, to the late Joseph and Mary (nee Mroczek) Michaels.


Dick, an area resident for 70 years, was a 1955 graduate of Grant Community High School.  He worked as a typesetter for Print-O-Tape and Gateway Printing.  Dick was a longtime supporter of and volunteer for Grant Township Little League and he enjoyed gambling.


Dick is survived by his wife of 66 years, Judi (nee Weber); children, Cindy, Rick, and Scott Michaels and Maria Pienschke; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.


Services will be private.
