Robert "Bob" E. Drews

Robert “Bob” Drews, 73, of Spring Grove, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023.  Husband of Vicki (nee Wiggins); dad of Michael (Patty), Neil, and the late Alec; grandpa of Alec, Elijah, and Hannah; brother of William “Billy” (Linda) Drews and the late Diane (Gordy) Kiesgen; son of the late William and June (nee Barrett) Drews.  Bob served in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran.  He was also a longtime member of IBEW Local 150, Fox Lake Volunteer Fire Department, and American Legion Post 703 where he served as past Commander.  Memorial visitation Wednesday, August 9, from 3 p.m. until American Legion honors at 5:45 p.m., Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Celebration of Life with Army Honors to follow at American Legion Post 703 Hall, 703 US Hwy 12, Fox Lake.  Memorials to Wounded Warrior Project, appreciated.
