Robert “Bob” G. Kuhfuss, 79, of Ingleside, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at home. He was born July 27, 1941, in Chicago, to the late Wilbert and Dorothy (nee Geisler) Kuhfuss.
Bob was raised in Chicago, and went on to have a long career as a tool and die maker. He was an avid motorcycle and automobile enthusiast—who enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and Honda motorcycles and babying his ’67 Firebird.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Irma (nee Perez); daughter, Kelly (Aaron Blohm) Kuhfuss; stepson, Abraham (Diana) Vazquez; sister, Bonnie (Chuck) Levecke; sister-in-law, Anabel Perez; brothers-in-law, Daniel (Liz) Perez and Nacho Perez; nieces and nephews, Cheryl (Michael) Ferguson, Larry (Diane) Kuhfuss, Mark Kuhfuss, Sandra (Tom) Muehlfelder, Kathy (Michael) Dare, Chuck (Kathy) Levecke, Jennifer (Sean) Nagel, Danielle (Alex) Green, Maddie Levecke, Susan Levecke, Anabel (David) Venegas, Damian Perez, and Reuben Perez; and many great nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by brother, Will (the late Louise) Kuhfuss; and former sister-in-law, June Kuhfuss.
Visitation Monday, June 21, from 4 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7:30 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Inurnment will be private.
