Rodolfo Frescas Baquera, 52, of Volo, unexpectedly passed away at home Thursday, July 6, 2023. He was born September 20, 1970, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to the late Manuel Frescas and Andrea Baquera.
A wonderful family man, Rodolfo was a very real and genuine person who was known to give the best advice and for his love of NASCAR. He was a hard-working, never-stop type of person who had his own, successful trucking business. He had the biggest smile and brightest eyes. Above all, he was proud to be part of the “three musketeers” (which included himself, his wife, and his son, Matthew).
Survivors include his beloved wife, Oralia Frescas; his beloved children, Rodolfo (Jennifer Alvarez) Frescas, Michelle Frescas, and Matthew Frescas; and his beloved grandchildren, Rodolfo III and Noel Frescas; he is further survived by his siblings, Manuel, Ramon, Ruben, Victor, Lupe, and Jose Luis.
Visitation Friday, July 14, from 4-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Saturday, July 15, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 27751 Volo Village Rd., Volo. All are invited to go directly to the church. Burial of Rodolfo’s urn will be in Mexico, Chihuahua, Punta de Agua.
