Sandy J. Fedderly (nee Campbell), 59, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Vista East Medical Center, Waukegan, Illinois. She was born July 31, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Claude and Judy (nee Albrecht) Campbell.
Sandy was a career veteran of the Marine Corps and Army, who had a lifelong devotion to veterans and veteran service organizations. She was currently the Commander of American Legion Post 703 in Fox Lake.
In her free time, Sandy enjoyed cross stich and crocheting—making blankets for veterans. She was an avid canner who could can anything and was known for her cooking and baking, often sharing her creations with friends and family. She had a larger-than-life personality and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Above all, she loved her country, military affiliations, time spent with her family—especially her beloved pets.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Bill Fedderly; children, Tere and Dariel Briggs; grandchildren; siblings, James (Sharon) Campbell, Karen (Tim) Vogel, and Claudia (David) Lynch; father-in-law, Jimmie (Mona) Fedderly; sister-in-law, Wendy (Leroy) Lowery; and many dear and loving friends.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by son, Jere Lynn Briggs II; brother, SGT. Dariel Scott Campbell; and mother-in-law, Betty O’Howell-Fedderly.
