Timothy Ryan Keel died peacefully in Chicago, IL, on May 31, 2020, after suffering a heart attack ten days earlier. He was 41 years old. Tim grew up in Lake Villa, loved to fish and camp, and was a die-hard Bears fan. Tim obtained his food service certification, became a certified mechanic, and was also a licensed barber. Tim loved to cook, and also enjoyed helping others look good in his barber chair. Tim continued helping others in his death as an organ donor.
Tim is survived by his parents, Ray and Joanne Keel; siblings, Alexander, Mary, and Lindsey Keel; niece, Brooklyn; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his sisters, Tonya Keel Ridge and Amy Keel; and his brother-in-law, Nick Ridge.
Tim fiercely loved his family and those who became like family. His laughter and sense of humor, as well as his ability to tell it like it is, will be greatly missed. Tim is in heaven and we celebrate his freedom.
Due to COVID 19, services will private. The family will hold a celebration of life for Tim, Tonya, and Amy later this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Ray and Joanne Keel are appreciated.
