My deepest condolences to you and your family. We all make mistakes, some more damaging than others. I didn't know Cassandra, but I did have the disgusting chance to meet the monster who is responsible for her death. He should have known better, and been more mature, but he is a repulsive man who has a special place in hell specially reserved for him. If it is any solace, I personally made his time hell during my brief stay in county jail. Sadly, our justice system is not that, and he has gotten probation. Hopefully he will screw that up and be sent to prison where he belongs. Again, I am truly sorry for your loss, and I now wish that I had done more.
