Frank Joseph Urman, 55, a lifelong resident of Ingleside, was born July 10, 1961, and passed away at home September 2, 2016, following a long illness.
He was a 1979 graduate of Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, and was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church, where he also attended elementary school. Frank was a proud member of the Chicago Truck Drivers’ Union Local 710 and was employed by TH Ryan Trucking Company.
He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed boating, golf, and his ATV. Frank was a fan of the Packers, Bulls, Sox, and Blackhawks, but his favorite teams were those on which his son played, and he rarely, if ever, missed an event.
Frank is survived by his son, Frank L. Urman of Ingleside; mother, Corinne General; brothers, Jerome “Skip” Pashke and William Urman; sisters, Ellen (Chad) Gustafson, Catherine (James) Leitz, and Amy (Rob) Didriksen; beloved nieces and nephews, Jessica, Christine, Dylan, Candis, Keith, and Jay; great nephews and niece, Mason, James, and Kallie; aunts, Roberta Joyce, Anita (Roger) Biver, and Arline Cetner; and my cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank E. Urman; sister, Laura Pashke; uncles, Charles Spittler, Joseph Cetner, and Peter Joyce; aunt, Dolores Spittler; cousin, Timothy Joyce; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Pashke.
A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, September 11, from 4-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, September 13, at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside. Inurnment will follow in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
