Uncle Herman ( Gene ) you were always the gentle giant. Though you had no children of your own, your many nieces and nephews adored you. I expect to see you again, sitting legs crossed puffing on that great smelling pipe you enjoyed so much. Thank you for being there for all of us.

Mr. Herman Cole was my first assigned patient from Transitions Hospice, whom I visited on a weekly basis. He was the most happy, peaceful, caring, and loving person!!! Even though he wasn't able to communicate as well as he wanted, he still had the GREATEST smile and loving personality I've ever seen! I will miss him greatly. Please know that you (his family) are in my prayers.
